Show students the design brief in their project book again and explain that today they will begin using data to solve 3 problems. One problem will have all of the information provided to you. It is your job to use the information that you have been given to create a graph of your choosing to represent this information. The second problem will provide you with some direction on what you need to do, but will allow you to research and determine some information. The third problem will be one in which you will simply be given and challenge and required to complete this challenge on your own. Let's have a look at your project book together. Don't forget to ask questions if you need help.

Problem 1
In a class of 30 students, the teacher was asked to find out which country each of her students were born in and present this information to the parents of the class. From the 30 students, 13 were born in Australia, 8 were born in China, 6 were born in Sudan and 3 were born in New Zealand. Present this information in the form of a Bar graph using the Create a Graph online tool.
